You can at least feel secure knowing your marriage will take forever to end.

Cassius and Longinus are names both taken from the same inspiration. I'm surprised they're used as opposites in Eva's lore

Or you will have to relive the whole thing in an altered version, while not being quite sure what it is all about.

They look nice, but I think your spouse will need to be an Evangelion fan also, if you want them to go along with it.

I'm just surprised at this. "EVA's" one of the gloomiest shows I've ever seen. Why would anyone want a wedding ring based on such a depressing show. I could easily see people selling Mickey and Minnie Mouse wedding rings because they're based on something cheerful. I'm still completely amazed that they continue to make merchandise of this show. It's something I've never really understood about it. Why does this keep occurring?

EVA merch sells. It has a strong fandom and an arresting aesthetic. Although, one gets the feeling a lot of fans forget just how glum it was and just enjoy the fandom and characters.

There is alot of Evangelion merchandise that I am not interested in, but there is also much that I am interested in. It is a popular series, that is considered a classic. Also, the new movies have kept interest alive.
Fans of older series, still look for merchandise. I still look for Shakugan no Shana, Gallforce, and Madoka Magica stuff. Surprising enough I found one of those extra large mouse pads for Gallforce and you can still buy t-shirts of Shana. Probably not official merchandise, but they were quality stuff and I love those shows.

Well, thanks Tars Tarkas. It might be a good explanation as any. The characters in "EVA" may be beloved, but I think that the show they're in is gloomy in general. That's what I think of it.
