When you choose releases, the default view is 'upcoming'. I reference older releases often to check dates, publishers, msrp, etc for my own collection and checking stuff, etc.
If I choose 'all' as my filter, it fails, and dumps me back to the 'upcoming' page. There's no error, it just refuses to let me select 'all'.
Any other filter, i.e. choosing a specific month, appears to work fine.

Hmm, yup, definitely a bug. I'll pass it on to Dan.
Not sure we really want to spit out a list of 22,000 releases though...

I'm experiencing the same issue. Before when it worked, there was already a restriction that you couldn't select all of all releases, so I'm pretty sure avoiding a single user hammering the database had already been taken into consideration.
Currently, choosing 'all' of any subset won't work. It goes to the upcoming list every time. This is pretty severe, since older release data is virtually inaccessible except for a single month view at a time.
update; I just noticed I am OP.
But my additional comments might be helpful anyway, so I'm keeping this.

Thanks Dan, you are the man.
Now I can look up all those release dates for my anime collection.
