Sweet! Was want to watch Moyashimon second season, but still hadn't seen the first season. Glad I don't have to watch fansubs!

It's great they got the first season, especially before we get far into the second, but it's unfortunate it's 480p only.

Same here. Heard good things about it and I was sad when I saw CR only had the current season showing. Now I can watch it! (lol As if I need another series for my to-buy pile)

Your google-fu is weak then.
Just before the second season started the original subbers of season one replaced their broadcast subs from 2007 (which which were still out there) with new ones using the JPN blu-ray release as a source.

st_owly said "couldn't be bothered trying to find", not "couldn't find". How does Google-fu factor into that?
I enjoyed the show via digisubs back when it aired, and didn't need to look to watch the second series. I don't think that I've watched it since it aired, either. I recall most of the high-points, but maybe I'll rewatch it. ^^;
