Yes! I'm going to San Francisco around that time... maybe I should go and see it. Of course I will!

I doubt it, this is probably something they are hoping to get a good profit on. I am glad they are going to dub it, even though I would have watched it subbed too.

People on the West coast are so lucky
Hopefully, Haruhi sells this time (or does better than its last release)

Err, sorta? Hard to beat their own 24 hour release announcement for Kannagi 9 mo's ago... |
That's assuming that they licensed it within that same 24 hours. Considering the grief and miles of red tape that companies have to go through just for a normal release, Bandai was probably just very careful about keeping a wrap on their acquisition until they were ready to announce and release it.
This has more to do with the fact that ever since Kannagi, they've been in a bit of a slump. Then comes Haruhi S2, the first Gurren Lagann movie, and then the Haruhi movie. Suddenly they're on a roll again.

Awesome, although I expected Bandai Ent. to pick up the movie, I didn't think they would do so so quickly. This probably explains the Haruhi series being pushed on CR by Kadokawa, so as to get the ball rolling on the momentum. Smart move on their part if that was the case, now if only they and Bandai Ent. could get the series on Ani-Monday (unless Manga Ent. wants a piece of that streaming deal, too...). Great to see Bang Zoom! involved, too, so I surmise that the cast will be working through S2 and into Disappearance.

Yes, I'm so happy that this is gonna premiere at my hometown. This is probably the biggest anime movie in Japan right, and there's no doubt that I'm gonna go. This way more exciting than Gundam Unicorn airing. And it's subtitle which makes way better.

Wow, I didn't expect them to get this so soon! I'm looking forward to it. Hopefully it will wash the taste of "Endless Eight" out of my mouth.

I saw the ASOS brigade youtube video today, and just knew they got the movie rights.
Here's hoping for a nationwide theater run (I can at least hope for a one day thing right? )

Alright!!
The movie is getting a dub! That's awesome, this is one anime film that needed a dub since the actors they got for the series did a brilliant job.

Maybe like one of those one-night Fathom events, that would definitely be in the realm of possibility. |
Hell yeah! That would be amazing! I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
