Yeah, I watched it, loved it, but still would consider better to give a prize to the whole quadralogy, that seems but more logical (I mean watching only 3.0 without having seen 2.0 before is doable but really strange. I can't really see it as a complete stand-alone) And I know that One Piece is but unlikely to win, even if it's the one I enjoyed the most out of all those nominees. Those awards don't really work on the enjoyment matter...Though, eva and wolf children are still in the shonen categorie for me too (and while they may be delicate for really young viewers, OP is aimed at both, and during both of the times I went to see this one, there actually was maybe 10 kids in the audience, the age mean was in the 25 years) Oh well, anyway, looking at it, it's still Wolf Children which should get the prize, but that doesn't change which I'm rooting for |

Hope someone could post the complete list of nominees for all the categories. I tried visiting the official site but unfortunately, there's no English version from the web

i agree, that rebuild should be viewed in its entirety, and not judged by its individual films.

So, The Intouchables is the only non-English film nominated? |

Those are probably only the main ones. I didn't find anything else, sorry.
Yes. Which is no surprise really, it's having an amazing chart run for a french movie. |

I've seen both wolf children and film Z in theaters and I can't see why film z doesn't deserve to be in the same category even if they are very different types of movies. I loved both movies in different ways, lol. But it's still very shallow to assume that just because a movie is more serious and has older audience means it's better. What is your definition of "serious" anyway? FYI, One Piece has A LOT of adult fans in countries like Japan and Taiwan. But I do think that wolf children has a better sob story |
