But they are. They're also the people behind Gurren Lagann and Little Witch Academia. All three of those titles are very good in different ways (Inferno Cop notably most divisively so, but considering the style they went for - deliberately low-quality and nonsensical - that's only to be expected). |

My point is that Inferno Cop is one of the funniest and most entertaining things to come out of Japan in a while. In 2 minutes it manages to be funnier than like 90% of "comedy" anime today.

Well I guess if you personally think that, then alright. I found it to be a poor-man's Aqua Teen Hunger Force or some other Adult Swim show. I'd rather watch Nadia, Eva, Re:Cutey Honey, Kare Kano, and other stuff Gainax has done.
