No, but Anthy was dark skinned so the Sailor Venus cosplayer was saying that dark skinned Paola should cosplay only dark skinned characters instead of light skinned Misato. |

I get that, I was being facetious. I was humorously agreeing with the premise of the comic. Technically, most light-skinned characters in anime are Asian. So by applying the same logic, the Sailor Moon cosplayer is actually also dressed as an inappropriate character. Thus negating the rationale that guards her racism. My best friend is Bulgarian, and Bulgarians don't really have any stereotypes, so we make them up to make jokes. Ex: "Freaking Bulgarians and their obsession with crepes" because he and his family eat crepes all the time. They also refuse to let you stop eating if you join them for dinner. We have a lot of fun with it.
