Damn, all 3 of the top rewards are already gone! Mad

I believe every single one of them, with the possible exception of the $500 offer, were snatched up by people on /a/ during their pledge drive several hours ago.

Great to see it's on ANN now. I might chip in $20, but I need some of that pesky stuff known as food...

I'm confused. Isn't the Time of Eve blu-ray already available from Rightstuf?

Can anyone clarify the "new ending" part without spoiling? I guess I just thought originally the movie was the samething as the OVAs but just linked all together with a few small new scenes.

Is it literally a new/different ending? A simple yes or no is sufficient. Or is it just an extended ending?

Thanks

Moreso extended than new. But it very much enhances the story and background of Time of Eve.

Fuuu I want to back, but being a student leaves me with a lack of money... I'll try to sort out funds to put in a $55 pledge next week, definitely don't want to miss out on this one!

FYI, you won't be charged until June 22nd!

I pledged just enough for the Blu-ray package.

Wow, surprised this go licensed. I was just thinking about this show and was surprised that since it had been screened at quite a bit of festivals and on CR that no one bothered to give it a shot. Well, glad to see it paid off.

$30 to go and there's still 28 days left, this is going to be huge.

And its there after on the first day. Now I guess we just get to wait and see how high it climbs.

It's not licensed, this is the actual animation studio funding their own international release of it.

I was planning on just getting the BD. But it'd be kind of cool to have your name on the insert. Although knowing my luck they'll spell my name wrong, just like everyone ever has in my life... Razz

I put in my pledge for the Blu-Ray package! I've wanted a physical copy of this for a while now, and getting the artbook and digital extras with it is a mega bonus.

Really happy to see that the goal is already exceeded, not only because it shows tremendous support for what is IMO an amazingly beautiful movie but also because all that extra money means more funding for future projects from a great little studio and a severely underrated director.

Better late than never, since they've already hit their goal, but I just signed up for my first Kickstarter project. ^^;

I loved watching the OVAs on Crunchyroll, so when it became available back in January 2011, I imported the OVA BD from Amazon. It's a great short series, and I'm quite happy to buy it again. I was rather disappointed when the Japanese movie BD didn't have an English translation... Now I can delete the fansub that I never got around to watching.
