As it was with Radiohead and Ergo Proxy, I believe that Geneon Entertainment USA had a hand in getting Franz to allow the song to be used. Plus with it being to only end theme the show had -- and how the song fits in perfectly frame-by-frame with the end sequence -- it would be a huge mistake to get rid of it.

But yeah I'm excited to see this show being licensed.

As per the panel, they haven't got the rights yet, but they're *trying* to clear it. Stay tuned, and hopefully, by Otakon, we'll get a better answer.

That's the part I don't understand. You pre-licensed a show for North America (Ergo Proxy). So why not clear the song at the same time?

Also, isn't Franz Ferdinand referenced in ParaKiss in more than just the song?

So who owns the song "Do You Want to?" Franz Ferdinand or Domino (the label)?
