Sweet. I thought this was something Viz did, since it wouldn't be too difficult, and I saw that the Barnes & Noble site already has what Volume 2 would look like (which is Koro-sensei's smug face).

I picked this manga up when I was in Japan last year, as part of a self-study Japanese course (I basically gave myself the task of translating the manga). During that time, I found it a bit hard to really get into because y'know, I was spending way more time trying to understand every single sentence said than I was actually following along with the story... I did continue reading it after coming home though, and by now this is honestly one of my favorite manga. I doubt I'll be buying the English release as I'm already buying it in Japanese, but it's still nice to see it get released in English, and I hope it does well.

This review reminded me to pick up the first volume. Into the TRSI cart it went!

Sometimes simplistic covers are better. The AC volumes immediately draw attention with bright colors and simple shapes. Gotta love it.

I went to Books-a-million last Saturday, read the first chapter, and decided to buy it right then and there.

Yea, there's a simplistic charm about the volume covers, and I like that there's a scheme it follows.

Covers for vol 1-12 lined up in one row, including both regular vol 7 and the version of vol 7 that was bundled with the 2013 event anime.

I didn't realize Koro-sensei had so many expressions. This will look very nice on my shelf though.
