There it's an apparent misunderstanding here. These are not meant to tell each Gen history, just epic or skipped parts, for example, Green vs Lance fight we never got to see or the encounter with the Shiny Gyarados, this is not a full-fledged Anime. |

So instead of making 12-13 episodes of a single story of a single generation let's take the Pokemon Origin Story and condense it down even more. Come on put some effort into it. No one says you have to abandon the main series (obviously your money maker) but do something more substantial than this. If you are gonna harp on nostalgia at least do it well.

The games don't have much story, and there are dozens of different manga that do their own spin on things so none of them would matter for these shorts. 5 minute shorts highlighting key events seem appropiate given the simplicity of the games. Otherwise, it would just be a copy of the main anime if they created their own take on the game's journey, and you don't really need 2 of the same thing. -Stuart Smith |

They are probably going to be done in the same way as those anime trailers for the videogames like what B2W2 and ORAS got.
Pity they could not just put this effort into another mini series like Origins and focus on GS, but I guess it'll have to do.... |
