Megami Deluxe doesn't have any articles on the series like their regular magazine. Megami Deluxe almost entirely contain one page picture from their pin-up or poster collections from the previous months of Megami Magazine. There are no actual pin-ups like in the regular Megami Magazine; some of the issues does contain double sided poster (sorry Digi Angel, there's no Kanon or Air posters with any of Megami Deluxe. Vol. 4 has Air and Clannad mini desktop standees).


You're right, it does seem like they're just using #5 to start with. The Japanese version does have an entire section devoted to AIR. No Kanon though, as most Megami DXs so far have been published between the 2 series. But I'd be willing to bet that #8 should have quite a lot from it (even though it seems to be mainly focused on Haruhi again, the second one straight). The Japanese version also had a pull-out closet poster with Mai on one side & Arika on the other (both shown in bed with a "I'm waiting for you" look on their faces, but overall they're not too graphic; Megami's had far "worse" as the rest of the Magazine will prove). I'll bet that they include it with the English version as well. I've compiled a list of all the sections & series in this issue. Keep in mind that with the exception of the pull-out, these "posters" are all shrunk down to page size in the Deluxe series.

Vol. 8 is dedicated to Suzumiya Haruhi (14 pages and double sided poster). As far as Kanon goes, it's on the last section (5 pages). I noticed the picture on DMP website, it has Tsubasa Chronicle written on the cover. Tsubasa was nowhere on vol. 5 JP release.

Not you specifically, but there are lots of people here who complain every time yaoi comes up about the porn harming the image of anime, they aren't going to support Media Blasters anymore because thye dropped their shonen line in favor of the yaoi line, etc.
And the fanboys are every bit as extreme as the yaoi fangirls.

Does anyone know if the book will be like this except not the same volume and pics or is DMP only doing pics for shows that are in america and will be toning down the content a little?

It seems that they'll be doing the same format as the Japanese version, yes. I don't think we know for sure if DMP will be making any edits, but I'm guessing (or at least hoping) they'll leave it uncensored. As I said in my above post, it seems that they're starting with volume 5 of the Japanese version:
