But that's the thing, some of those videos were done outside of Japan, meaning her visible cooch is beyond reproach. I think it's just a matter of "we can't show it to Japanese disc buyers, so no one else gets to see." |

well someone doesnt know how much sexual images can fudge a kids life up by making them into some kind of nymphomaniac psychopath, kids these days are real moronic and they soak shit up like a carpet.... and then theyre stained for good. Maybe when people are less stupid obscurities like this can be more accepting of, but not now, that would be bad, maybe in 30-100 years.... hopefully. |

I do find this quite amusing considering that festivals, but I'm mean really...it's bad enough that adult manga has such restrictions and it's hilarious watching the manga artist attempt (if at all) to cover it up. Black stripe here, a slash of ink here, done it's covered. But are folks really that alarmed at seeing a giant vagina let a alone a giant penis?

I know I'm going against the prevailing view here but I thought that the police did the right thing in arresting this woman. To me,I don't think that was necessary. A 3D version of her genitalia is something I don't want to see anywhere,at any time.

Umm, please think about what you are suggesting... the beauty of a society that allows free expression is that you have the right to see or not see her 3d genitalia. Rather than leave that decision up to the police and/or government, it would be infinitely better to make that an individual decision. (As is the case in most of these senseless censorship cases.) |

I agree with madchester5. No one's forcing you to see it. No one's forcing anyone to see it. She just put the 3D file in her own specific site which is all about vagina (and she only gave the file to the people contributing to her vagina-related project), so people will only go to the site if they have interest in her works. It's not like she put it in public display so the whole world must see what she did. I don't see how it's harmful. I don't think police should interfere, let alone arresting her. Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean that you have the right to ban other people to see it. It's like forbidding delicious steak because baby can't chew it.
Also, were you implying that madchester5 is a lowly human who likes to see people genitalia? Saying things like "don't drag me to your level" basically says it all, and I don't see him/her forcing his/her standard on you. |

What the hell are you even talking about? Making this illegal is the epitome of stopping people from seeing it. And nobody saying it shouldn't be illegal is in any way forcing you to look at it. You're advocating forcing your beliefs on what should be seen on others and yet inexplicably acting like the reverse is true. |

There's really no other way to interpret this. I'm so sick of this ancient Victorian law screwing so much shit up, it has no place existing in this century. Even the Victorians could likely appreciate a well drawn genital in fine art, I don't know what Japan's problem was in 1907.
