Was there any news on if it would be resubtitled? The DVDs had dubtitles, essentially just the english script. It was an absolute garbage job.

Nobody's talking about that dub, just about how Viz & Subatomic handled the video quality on the Blu-ray, DVD & Hulu streams.
The dub complaints here are over the Jojo 2012 series which I disagree since I thought it was decent, even with the accents.

As for Jojo, if it's being handled by Subatomic Digital then there's reason to worry but it would still be better than the awful job WB did with the DVDs. |
Ugh. Sounds like I will not be pre-ordering this then. I'll wait for the reviews.

Aaaaaaand this is going on my "to buy" list. About time. I wonder if/when they'll release Battle Tendency in the same way.

I just want clean OPs and ED and no dubtitles. As for the dub i liked the original one except Caesar otherwise no major complaints.

Exactly. They better announce the dub for that and Terra Formars VERY soon or I'm going to get really pissed.

So can we get this on TV? Or at least Hulu?

Finally. Glad this show isn't on TV in the States, and isn't going to suffer the same non-release schedule for the BDs that something like HxH is.

It is obvious that the new dub is a strategy for people to double dip since no doubt even if many people hates the warner release, it no doubt sold a lot. So here is an idea for VIz, do a spanish dub, not because I think it will sell a lot in Latinamerica, but because latinos inside the USA buy more anime than other demographics.
I have saying this for ages, Jojo deserves an spanish dub, english as a language is not macho enough :-p

It's included in the WB DVD set so it should be in the Viz Blu-ray set as well.

Glad to see this title (mostly) back in the hands of a proper anime publisher.
