Oh, I remember the Dept. Heaven games. I tried to play multiple of them and never got very far.
I particularly remember KitN because it had a really different battle system, but I remember and respect most of them for doing something different.
But man, they were hard and somewhat unpleasant to play. Great aesthetics but not the most enjoyable experience...
