NEWS: Sentai Filmworks Licenses Ice Anime

The reason this is getting dubbed is fairly simple. It's short. Shorter shows and OVAs are cheaper to dub. Even Media Blasters has said this comes in to play when they look at which shows they are going back and dubbing.

If you look at their history, Sentai is much more likely to dub a movie or 13 episode series as opposed to a 26 episode plus one. That's why something like You're Under Arrest seasons 2 and 3 will never get dubbed, with 50+ episodes.

The license on this was likely cheap and the dubbing costs will be low, so their overall investment is minimal. It also helps them to have more dubbed material on Anime Network.
