If you really want to be cheap and don't have a PS 2, GameTap has it. Drop 9.99 and play it. If you don't see anything else you like, just cancel the payment.

I too remember the days of being spurned by Squaresoft during the golden years of SNES, and I too still hold a grudge to this day.

With all the cruddy Mana games that have come out the past few years, I think they owe it to us to make an official US release of Seiken Densetsu III. Oh, and if they throw in Bahamut Lagoon, that'd be great too.

Word, Bahamut Lagoon is definitely my kind of game. Why? DRAGONS!! >=D

You know, I've had the SD3 ROM so many times on my comp, it's laughable. And I never manage to finish it (probably due to the cruddy combat system).

Incidentally, At tonelico 2's release has me concerned. I think they should have released it by now. We just recently got Mana Khemia: The Alchemists of Al-Revis and while it was fun like the Atelier Iris series, it does not fill the void.

Phantasy Star IV is my favorite video game of all time. I have the original Genesis cartridge and now have it on my PSP as part of Sega Genesis Collection. I highly recommend it. It was my introduction to Phantasy Star, and I went on to play the earlier games afterwards enjoying how PSIV tied them in.

Definitely try it out, whether it's on your Wii, PS2, PSP, or GameTap. :p So many ways to get it now! I'd've gotten the Sega Genesis Collection for PS2 instead, but since I've wanted to play PSIV portable forever I am quite happy to have it on my PSP instead. I can play it off my Genesis if I want it on a TV anyway. :9
