Perfect, enough time to finish the final 5 episodes so I can continue spoiling it for others.
They'll never be able to edit the downhill disaster that was episodes 13 to where I am now.

a death slot would be 2am or later |
People in the Mountain Time Zone get screwed for almost all time slots, no channel is ever the same. Durarara will run at 1:30 AM for us and Brotherhood runs at 2:00 AM. Adult Swim is the sole reason I still have a VCR.

YEEE Durarara is really good~ And i never got the time to finish, so this will be a perfect chance!
I hope AS gets more new anime...because they've been showing an awful lot of reruns of the same series for years now (I make exceptions for Cowboy Bebop )...they need newer shows...maybe that's why rating are as good as they should be. NEEEWWW~ They should add Angel Beats, or even Higurashi~ or better yet...Soul Eater!

I hope Durarara can get some attention. It was freaking awesome, but seems like it could be easily overlooked by the typical Adult Swim target audience (whoever CN thinks that is). I'm just glad they throw us a bone every once in a while with decent anime like this, FMA:Brotherhood, Moribito, etc.
I'm also glad that there are more and more legitimate distribution means available (Hulu, Netflix, Crunchyroll...) so we don't have to rely on AS for anime!

That would be the case if the broadcast was done BEFORE the Dvds were out.
It's a good series , but unfortunately another bad move since Moribito. Barely anyone is gonna watch it cause all the eps are on DVD now, though if the DVDs were subs only releases then that i can understand.
I dont get why AS even bothered to get the broadcasting rights if all of the eps are on DVD already. It doesn't make total sense to me.

Did they get the broadcast rights? Maybe CN/AS is getting paid to air it. Maybe Drrr!! will still be new to a lot of people since anime has dropped from the mental "radar" of things of interest to many. We'll find out, I guess. I won't be watching, but I hope that it does reasonably well for CN/AS/Aniplex.

Oh yes they have the broadcasting rights. Even showed a commercial of it showing Tormorrow after Bleach.
But it's like I said before, Why show it at all when the entire eng dubs are already on DVD?
It doesn't make proper business sense to me since people can just buy the Unedited DVDs instead of watching a barely slightly edited version on TV. Though I'll definitely be watching it since i dont have the DVDs as yet, I am do afraid it's gonna bomb as bad as moribito.
