Mr Adventure, I prefer Yamato despite the fact I Saw Starblazers years before I saw the Space Battleship Yamato films. I remember when Japanimation was used in packaging of Force Five Video Tapes. I am curious to see if voyager ent eventually releases a box set of season 1.

They could just put:
Space Battleship Yamato 2199 / Star Blazers 2199 on the title

And in the subs.

English subtitles: Yamato
Localized subtitles: Argo

Ideally, they'll simply use Bandai Visual's excellent subtitles.

If they provide their own, well, I'll just say the press release text on the website does not inspire confidence.
