Man does Final Fantasy XVI look bland as heck. I grew up on the Final Fantasy franchise. It was famous for how unique and out of the box the old game's styles were. There's still nothing in games even close to the unique style Yoshitaka Amano brought to those older games. Now it's bland pretty boy, bland pretty boy, bland pretty boy, oohhh, here's a bland pretty boy with a small face tattoo!
Oh well, so it goes. XVI is still in development so maybe it'll still turn into something great. Maybe they'll remember to put in a decent female character this time. |
