The dub might be a little rough with some of the minor/nobody characters but I still prefer it, I tried watching the sub but just found it had less personality. Even if the sub is more refined at the end of the day its all about the enjoyment and the Berserk dub nailed that aspect to became a fan favorite after all these years.
