Apart from what you've mentioned, I'd like to think that Vision of Escaflowne, Gurren Lagann, Akira and Ghost in the Shell (movie and SAC) will get picked up some day. And maybe Code Geass if the Akito the Exiled BDs do really well in Japan? Or Lucky Star, Love Hina and Big O?
As for others, I genuinely have no idea. I'm hoping for S-CRY-ed myself *fingers crossed*

Akira already got picked up by Funimation (Link). I'm crossing my fingers and hope that they release the BD version as I already have the DVD one. As far as GITS wasn't Manga Entertainment handling distribution for the movie and SAC? So I don't see the GITS franchise drying up.

Bandai has said Ghost int he Shell isn't effected by this. Starz (they own Manga Entertainment) owns it, they just released it for them. So, GitS is off the market.

Hmm, I already have the original DVD release, I wonder if I should upgrade or not before time makes the choice for me.

So glad that I picked up Eureka 7 and the movie during the summer Bandai sale. I have been wondering if I should get Ghost Slayers Ayashi before the prices inflate.
I also kick myself for being late on collecting Hayate: The Combat Butler. Didn't realize Part 8 was super rare.

Try to answer a few questions-YES, the Escaflowne movie is very much worth getting on bluray, Ghost Slayers Ayashi-if you want it then get it now, Hayate The Combat Butler, even if you can't find disc 8 it's still very much worth having.

Yes, I think someone will recuse these titles, a BD release will 50/50 on them.

Maybe some awesome release of Gurren Lagann will come from Aniplex. I've been wanting them to do something for Darker Than Black like they did with Baccano! (ie: Japanese styled BD box). FUNimation seems to have zero interest in it. Dunno if they are even allowed to.

Yes, they could IF they just wanted the BD rights. If Darker then Black has a BD release in Japan, they can just get the rights to those. They can't do a DVD release because Funi has the rights to those.
