Well that was certainly interesting, now at least I understand why the anime babes is in hyphens.

But imagine what these ladies parents and kids think of this. Although it's some what odd for us (us meaning those who aren't related to them) imagine what their families must think of this.

Is it just me, or they really looker kinda... old.
I mean... j.. just LOOK at her! She could be your mother!

Cosplay is all about young, playful and a bit crazy, or shy otaku girls. Who just trying to get some fun out of it.
Not cheap overage strippers, who dance on the stage!
Sad

Lust and Rei were okay. Lust because the woman was actually kinda cute and Rei because the costume was decent.

Overall though, that was a bit disappointing. I thought burlesque shows were supposed to be a bit more. . . well, appealing. I mean, I've seen a lot better just walking around in a mall. (Not that appearance is everything but when one's job is to look sexy, it does seem like the employee should be qualified as at least a 7 or 8 on the scale of hotness.)

They need to recruit at a con sometime soon. Seen a lot better at cons. Saw a girl cosplaying Yuna from Final Fantasy X that looked like she'd just stepped out of the game and I curse my luck that I didn't have my camera at the time.

As someone who knows one of the girls involved I just shake my head at all the possible fat asses making comments here tonight. I'd like to see some of you people drag your sad otaku carcasses up on the stages. Confused

I'm sorta thinking that too. These people are being pretty harsh.

Lucky you put possibly in there ,wouldn't want to be an ignorant turd now would you? =P

someone once said "There's a time to hold and a time to fold" and no offense to people like the one I quoted, but this isn't for a burlesque show, this is something you should see at a con, where people put time into the character so that way comments like this are minimal at best and much more respected, and not just bad looking sorry, you can kawaii up bad all you want, but its still bad, halo 2 bad, bad

+1

But anyways!
Putting burlesque and anime together, is just wrong.
Like: Noodles and Ice-cream. Jeah!, their both good, but mix them together and...
...well, you get the idea. Wink
