Ummm....why? I grew up with the Viz name and love it. I'm sure I'm not alone on this. And "New People" just sounds dumb.

This is only their live-action movie arm.
Viz manga/anime will still be Viz. |

That's a relief and makes sense. New People Inc would have been a poor name choice for an anime company. |

I agree with you, but if the flims are live action, I guess this makes sense. But seriously Viz Media, don't change your entire name to New People. It's not bad, but it certainly does kind of sound odd. |

Really? A big step to take so suddenly in branding image. However, the image of New People can really help distinguish the two sides of Viz. I'm a big fan of the New People in San Fran so far, I look forward to future events.

I just find it funny to name it New People Inc.
The name doesn't do much for live action just because I dunno just doesnt really catch any interest to me, and while it's still viz, people won't be go omg I need to go see that movie by New People |

Thats nice. Now if they can just make some more useful changes like releasing their movies to more theaters so I can actually see some of them when they come out.

When they go bankrupt and some company decides to own the rights. At least that seem to be the only hope i have left for that release. |
