Now if only Nontendo can remove its region lock...I'd so buy this game & the Attack on Titan game in a heartbeat!

I was wondering how an Assassination Classroom game would work. I couldn't get anything out of the trailer. Even reading the description below...I'm still not entirely sure how you can make a whole game out of the premise.
I hope it pops up in the American Shonen Jump though. I'll get the first volume now that Viz has worked up the courage for it.

Looks just a cash-in. Don't worry about it.

^You will have to look very hard to find any adaptation which doesn't walk and talk like a cash in to a significant degree. As far as games go, the only ones I can't say that for in the last few years are Arkham Asylum and Arkham City.

Looking at your avatar and username, surprised we haven't had a Hunter X Hunter 3DS title yet. I think those two have a decent shot of getting localised (well there are two Magi 3DS games - so three), but I'll be importing them eventually.

They seem to be systematising it as a series of mini games while you try to kill or catch Koro-sensei with established students and even your own created character. I imagine you will be exploiting his known weaknesses to get close and doing some simple class lessons as well.
I'm not expecting an interesting system out of this, but would be pleased as long as it isn't abysmal or riddled with poor value DLC like the other Bamco stuff.

Pokemon is a good game series on its own. Some fans prefer it over the TV series.

That is the exact reverse. It started as a well marketed and designed game series with the anime being the adaptation.
It would be like saying the BlazBlue games have some of the best mechanics around and uncompressed storytelling which makes everything else look shallow by comparison, but BlazBlue Alter Memory (the anime) was the shoddy adaptation of the games.
Valkyria Chronicles is the same case. Great game, okay at best anime adaptation which has to drop story elements, player choice and game mechanics.
The anime adaptations are all cash in attempts or advertisements in a sense which will hopefully be good. Death Note, Monster and Ouran High School Host Club are three examples of adaptations which ended up being great, but only the first two waited to adapt the full work instead of jumping in earlier on.
