Suzuko Mimori, Kengo Kawanishi Star in JRA Website Anime Ad

The Japan Racing Association is no stranger to anime collaborations whether its putting Gundam pilots on the racetrack or helping produce weird one-off episodes of Pop Team Epic. JRA-VAN, the information service for all things horse racing, launched its own anime ad to raise awareness about its website.
The ad stars Suzuko Mimori and Kengo Kawanishi as two more-than-friends-but-less-than-lovers. Takashi (Kawanishi) invites Suzuka (Mimori) out on a date on the racetrack. The ad introduces the JRA-VAN TRY website, a site targeting horse racing beginners. The ad is set to the song "Yoru ni Rock o Kiite Shimattara" by the rock band Frederic. Hiroyuki Morita (Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters assistant director) directed the ad.
The JRA has collaborated with Kingdom, previously partnered with works such as Attack on Titan, Evangelion, Pop Team Epic, and Sengoku Musou for similar collaborations involving online content.
The JRA's Mr. Osomatsu "Hashire! Oumatsu-san" collaboration includes an OVA and six new anime shorts. Crunchyroll streamed the Osomatsu-san Ouma de Kobanashi special.
