Nintendo announced and released Hako Boy! Mō Hito-Hako (Box Boy! One More Box) — a sequel to HAL Laboratory's 2016 Box Boy! platformer puzzle game — on the Japanese Nintendo 3DS eShop on Wednesday. The game is available for 630 yen (about US$5). Nintendo is streaming a preview video for the game, which previews the new ability in the game to release two sets of boxes.
In the original Box Boy! game, players control a box-shaped character named Qbby. Players can create a set number of boxes dependent on the level, and can use the boxes in a number of ways, such as a platform to traverse the level, as a weight to push down switches, or to block lasers.
Nintendo released the original game in Japan in January 2015, and in North America and Europe in April 2015.
