2nd Prism Nana Original Video Anime Episode's Trailer Streamed

posted on by Egan Loo

The Magical Suite Prism Nana project posted a trailer for the second original video anime episode, "Hoshizora-Hen" (Starry Sky Story), on Friday.

The Akihabara UDX Gallery in Tokyo will host two advance screenings on April 16. Voice cast members Yoshino Nanjō (Riino), Chika Anzai (Mako Hiragi/Eleki Nana), Suzuko Mimori (Itaru Washioka/Heat Nana), Asami Imai (Asuka Asagi/Earth Nana), Eri Kitamura (Kotone Oribe/Aqua Nana) will appear at the screenings with the musical group Daisy × Daisy for a talk show and a mini live concert. (Imai will only appear at the first screening.)

The project will have seven episodes, and the director and the screenwriter will change between episodes. These episodes will utilize the "star system," where the same characters will star in each episode but the staff for each episode will have freedom in style and story.

Daisy × Daisy, who previously performed the song "Hoshizora Connection" for the project's seventh promotional video, will perform music for the OVA.

SHAFT first announced the project with prototype Nendoroids at Comiket in 2012. The project has thus far been limited to a series of pachislo (pachinko parlor slot) machines and a seven-part pilot promotional video series. The project's Facebook page announced in June 2015 that the project would get an OVA series.

Kantoku (The "Hentai" Prince and the Stony Cat.) is responsible for the original character designs. The story centers around three adolescent girls, seventh grader Kotone Oribe/Aqua Nana (voiced by Eri Kitamura), eighth grader Itaru Washioka/Heat Nana (Suzuko Mimori), and eighth grader Asuka Asagi/Earth Nana (Asami Imai), from a future not too distant from our own time.
