Hitoshi Ashinano Ends Kotonoba Drive Manga

posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
4th volume ships on March 23

The March issue of Kodansha's Afternoon magazine published the final chapter of Hitoshi Ashinano's Kotonoba Drive manga on January 25. Kodansha will publish the manga's fourth and final compiled book volume on March 23.

The manga centers on Suu-chan, a girl who works part-time at a pasta restaurant named "Lamp." She witnesses mysterious events while riding her moped in the night, such as the past of a person or place. She can only experience these visions five minutes at a time. The manga is a loose sequel to Ashinano's earlier PositioN manga.

Ashinano launched the manga in Afternoon in January 2014. Kodansha published the manga's third compiled book volume last June.

Ashinano's Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou manga inspired a two-episode OVA in 1998, as well as second two-episode OVA in 2002.
