The December issue of Shogakukan's Petit Comic magazine (cover seen right) revealed on Thursday that manga creators Kazumi Kazui and Shiho Komiyuno will both launch new manga series in the magazine in separate issues. Aya Kawase and Hiiro Kisaragi will also launch new manga in the magazine next year.
The magazine did not reveal the title for Kazui's new series, but hinted that it will be a romance story. The manga will launch in the magazine's April 2019 issue in March 2019.
Kazui's Kitto Ai Shite Shimaunda. (I'm Sure I Fell in Love) manga also ended in the December issue. Kazui launched the manga in December 2015.
Kazui drew the manga adaptation for Kyoichi Katayama's Socrates in Love novel in 2004. Viz Media published both the novel and manga in English in 2005.
Shiho Komiyuno's new manga is titled Second Kiss, and it will debut in the magazine's March 2019 issue in February 2019. The magazine hinted that the manga's story will center on a pure adult love story about an unforgettable "first love."
Komiyuno drew the Demashita! PowerPuff Girls Z manga from 2006 to 2007, adapting the anime of the same name, and also drew Hime-chan no Ribon Colorful, a remake of Megumi Mizusawa's classic Hime-chan's Ribbon (Hime-chan no Ribon) manga. That manga ran in Shueisha's Ribon magazine from 2009 to 2010.
