Muse Asia Streams Special Crime Investigation Unit Special 7, Black Bullet Anime

Special Crime Investigation Unit Special 7 is set in a different Tokyo on a different world than ours, and the story follows Tokunana, a unit of assembled misfits in the Metropolitan Police Department. Tokunana battles against "Nine" — an organization committing crimes in their zealous worship of the dragons that once roamed the world.
Harume Kosaka (Sailor Moon technical director) directed the anime with chief director Takayuki Kuriyama (Angolmois: Record of Mongol Invasion), and Yuichiro Higashide (Fate/Apocrypha) was in charge of the series scripts. Hiroya Iijima (Mazinger Z: Infinity) adapted the original character designs by manga creator Nanae Chrono (Peace Maker) for animation. Kazuo Takigawa (Tokko, Ayakashi) was chief animation director, and Ryō Takahashi (Citrus, ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept.) composed the music.
Namazakana's manga adaptation of the original television anime launched in Monthly Comic Garden in 2019 and ended in January 2021.
Gastrea, grotesque-looking parasitic lifeforms suddenly appeared. With their red-sparkling eyes, overwhelming strength, and abnormal regeneration capabilities, humanity doesn't stand a chance against their invasion. Now that humanity had lost half of its territory, they live in a place surrounded by monoliths made from the only metal Gastrea are weak against, "Varanium." They have no other choice than to live in fear of Gastrea, hiding inside the small Area. In such a situation, the humanity that survived formed an organization, and it consists of specialists that have a way to fight Gastrea. They're called "Civil Security Agency," shortened as "Civil Officer." Amongst them, is Rentaro Satomi, a high school boy that's affiliated with Tendo Civil Security Agent. Along with his partner, Aihara Enju, he got involved in schemes that might bring destruction into Tokyo.
The series stars Aoi Yūki as Kohina Hiruko, Yui Horie as Kisara Tendō, Yūko Kaida as Sumire Muroto, Tomoyo Kurosawa as Tina Sprout, and Aki Toyosaki as Seitenshi. The lead voice actors include Yūki Kaji as Rentarō Satomi, Rina Hidaka as Enju Aihara, and Rikiya Koyama as Kagetane Hiruko.
The anime originally premiered in Japan in April 2014 and had 13 episodes. Muse Asia previously streamed the anime in India in February 2022.
Masayuki Kojima (Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi, The Piano Forest) directed the anime at Kinema Citrus from scripts by Tatsuhiko Urahata (Saki Episode of Side A, Cardfight!! Vanguard). Senbon Umishima designed the characters, while Shiro Sagisu (Bleach, Neon Genesis Evangelion) composed the music. Yō Yamada (The Garden of Words, Penguindrum) served as sound director.
