Atarashii Gakkō!, Tatsuya Kitani, Creepy Nuts to Perform in Kuala Lumpur on April 26

Artists performs as part of Central Music & Entertainment Festival

Entertainment company IME Asia announced on Wednesday that Atarashii Gakkō!, Tatsuya Kitani, and Creepy Nuts will perform at the Central Music & Entertainment Festival 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on April 26.

The Atarashii Gakkō! girl music group performed the ending theme song for the 2018 SNS Police anime, and the members also did minor voice acting roles in some of the series' episodes. They also performed the theme song for the Baki Hanma vs. Kengan Ashura anime.

Kitani has arranged and composed theme songs for such anime as Mr. Osomatsu, Sirius the Jaeger, Mob Psycho 100 II, A Certain Scientific Accelerator, and Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? III from 2017 to 2020. His first credited performance of an anime theme song is "Seija no Kousin" in the 2021 series The Idaten Deities Know Only Peace. He later performed the theme songs "Scar" and "Rapport" for the first season of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War. In 2023, he performed the opening theme song "Ao no Sumika" for the second season of Jujutsu Kaisen, and also performed the theme song "Jikai Yokoku" for the Go, Go, Loser Ranger! anime in 2024. He formed the temporary duo GEMN with Kento Nakajima to perform the theme song "Fatale" on the second season of Oshi no Ko in July 2024. He also collaborated with natori for the opening theme song "Iranai mono" for the Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Disturbance anime in October 2024.

The hip-hop duo Creepy Nuts most recently peformed the theme song "Otonoke" for the DAN DA DAN anime. They also performed the opening theme song "Bling-Bang-Bang-Born" for the second season of Mashle: Magic and Muscles. The duo performed the theme songs and insert songs for the Call of the Night anime. They also made a guest appearance in the anime's sixth episode.
