Setsucon Announces that Brittany Lauda Will Be Joining Setsucon as a Guest

ALTOONA, PA – Setsucon is excited to announce that voice actor and ADR Director Brittany Lauda will be attending making her first convention appearance since 2019 and first anime convention appearance in PA at Setsucon 2022. Setsucon is Pennsylvania's only annual winter anime convention, hosted by students and alumni of the Penn State Anime Organization. This upcoming convention will take place January 28 – 30, 2022 at the Blair County Convention Center in Altoona, Pennsylvania.

Brittany Lauda is best known for playing Yuzuriha in Dr. Stone, Riko in Made in Abyss, Satoko Hojo in Higurashi GOU/SOTSU, Ichigo in DARLING in the FRANXX, Mai in Nichijou, Cow Girl in Goblin Slayer, Lessar in A Certain Magical Index, Kenya in That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime, Doctor in Akudama Drive, Young Law in One Piece, Sui and Sotain Darwin's Game and Mirim in Queen's Blade. Working as an ADR Director, she has directed some series such as: Akudama Drive, Kemono Jihen, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, and Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue

These, along with many others. She also co-owns Kocha Sound alongside her husband,, Matt Shipman.
Setsucon attendees will get a chance to meet Brittany Lauda for autographs and panels on Saturday & Sunday of Setsucon 2022. Further information about her appearance times and activities will be posted in January.

More guests and events will be announced by Setsucon over the next several weeks, including more voice over guests, musical performers, cosplay judges, and guest panelists. Setsucon 2022 proudly partners with AnimEigo, BookFestPA, I.O.E.A, Japan Candy Box, Kawaii Box, RightStufAnime, and Sentai Filmworks. ABOUT SETSUCON: Setsucon is organized by the Penn State Anime Organization at University Park. Starting out in 2007 at the Days Inn Penn State in State College, this student and alumni run event moved to Altoona in 2018 to continue growing and presenting a safe and inclusive family friendly convention to Pennsylvania and beyond. With nearly 1,500 attendees, it is one of the largest fandom events in Central Pennsylvania and the fourth largest annual anime convention in the state. Setsucon was named the Penn State Student Organization Program of the Year in 2018. The next convention will be held January 28th-30th, 2022 at the Blair County Convention Center in Altoona, Pennsylvania.
