About jon-YAKITORY

jon-YAKITORY is a prolific Vocaloid producer who has long shown just how flexible the singing-synthesizer software can be. After catching attention under a different alias for several years, he rolled out the jon-YAKITORY name in 2017 and quickly caught attention for tracks dabbling in rock, dance and swing among other styles. He was one of the first producers to create original tracks for Ado, helping to shape the sound that would eventually lead her to J-pop stardom. Meanwhile, his own approach to Vocaloid caught attention via frantic cuts such as “Konton Boogie” and “Yamada Perfect” among others.
