Toei Animation Global Hit Anime Franchise Joins World of Minecraft;
Dragon Ball Z x Minecraft DLC Available Now

LOS ANGELES – November 4, 2025. The highly-anticipated collaboration between legendary anime studio Toei Animation and Minecraft
is here! Starting today, “Dragon Ball Z” becomes part of world of Minecraft with the first-ever themed DLC (downloadable content) from the global hit Dragon Ball anime franchise — delivering a one-of-a-kind anime-themed gaming experience. Players can now enter the epic World Martial Arts Tournament and battle it out in solo, co-op and 5v5 gameplay as one of the iconic characters from the beloved “Dragon Ball Z” episodic series. Available for the Minecraft: Bedrock Edition, the Dragon Ball Z x Minecraft DLC includes one (1) free Scouter Character Creator item for a limited time (terms and conditions apply)

Before joining the fight, players will start off at Kami's Temple inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber (Room of Spirit and Time) where they can select from nearly 20 different fan-favorite “Dragon Ball Z” characters including Goku, Vegeta, Krillin, Gohan, Piccolo, Frieza, Bulma and Trunks. Choose wisely as each character comes with their own unique fighting abilities such as the Kamehameha, Galick Gun, Ki Blast, Ultimate Final Fash and more. From here, the battle can begin in any of a variety of “Dragon Ball Z” themed arenas to pick from like Cell Games, Planet Namek and Gizard Wasteland. And at any time a break is needed from the fighting, players can head to the Capsule Corporation for a rest.

Plus, the “Dragon Ball Z” DLC even lets players stay in character whenever they are on Minecraft with an included skin pack featuring all the characters available in fight play.
