You had me at "food truck," honestly, but this comic is absolutely adorable. Ji-Eun is sincere, dedicated and really, really wants to feed people. The members of the Cheongmyeong Guild are enthusiastic and committed to helping Ji-Eun, not just so they can be fed, but because they are really nice people. There's a cute cat spirit, the food truck is bulletproof, and this whole thing is just so much fun.

Ji-Eun's story begins not quite at the beginning. Game mechanics are a bit obscure, but it gives the story a quaint randomness that is entertaining. The food is mostly home cooking that you'll be familiar with from Japanese and Korean media, from fried pork cutlet to kimchi rice and, like all good food stories, it is all drawn with more detail and attention than anything else in the story.

I'm seriously a sucker for food-centric media, but even if you're more into the dungeon mechanics, or the skills of the team members, there is plenty here to keep you amused. Should none of this be to your taste, Guild leader Song Joo-hyuk and Ji-Eun have some undeniable and very cute tension, and for once, it works. One hopes that, as Ji-Eun gains some more skills, that she and he feel free to pursue the mutual attraction.

Pleasantly, monsters are not the point here as they are in so many dungeon stories. Notably, Ji-Eun finds that she can run them over in her truck and has a blast slamming in to them at high speed. There's a lot left to this story that we don't yet know. How and why Ji-Eun is here, what her goal is beyond cooking for the Guild and what skills she has yet to unlock will fill future chapters.

If you've had your fill of dungeon adventures and are looking for something with a new flavor, Dungeon Food Truck Boss might be to your taste.
