ANN's official policy on this stuff is generally along these lines. Whatever it says in the show, that's what we use, period. Nothing to say past that.

I could have sworn earlier elsewhere that people were saying Tanya was previously a salarywoman.
So, was she a salaryman or a salarywoman in her past life?

@TarsTarkas The former, that is the reason at the end of episode 2 her face has "somebody please kill me now" written all over

Episode 2 gave the back-story, but she was a guy before, not that it's really a secret at this point, if you read the preview guide.

Personally I enjoyed the first two episodes of this series and I'm looking forward to seeing how it develops.

Two hours later, I still see "ze" and "zir" (at least on mayu-chan). You may need to push that edit through a cache or something. It's not my browser's cache, for sure.

Oh no problem 4chan is occasionally good for finding out sales numbers and hot takes on series in between the random memes and causal misanthropy.

Oh, I was intrigued by the initial description, but it seems it was a misconception of the premise/certain plot twists. I guess that makes sense, though, since Japan doesn't have strictly gendered pronouns, just generally gendered ones, so pronouns are usually more of an indicator of attitude or tone than gender.
Her face in the thumbnail certainly looks like somebody who's transcending society, at least in frustration, haha. Oh well.
...as for people trying to use a brief mistake as an excuse to rant about why alternative pronouns are Too Political, please don't ruin threads.

"Ah, pronoun trouble."
I was wondering why there were so many comments for this spotlight article.

Did anyone catch what color her hair and eyes were? I might have missed it.

I had exactly the opposite reaction, that's some awful character design. She looks like a scowling frog and why are her eyes lined with fur? And her body looks like some took an adult body, shrunk it and stuck a giant head on top.
Bizarre, since the rest of the character look fine.

In case you didn't realise, there's some quite deliberately exaggerated foreshortening going on in that particular piece of key art. It's Visha's design that bothers me, since she seems even out of place among the other characters than Akane in Psycho-Pass.
