So glad it got the 12:30 slot which is what at the latest I was hoping for! I usually go to bed at 12:30 but I'll make the exception for AoT S2 once a week. Can't wait super excited for it as I loved S1!

So JoJo is ending the 15th then? Was kind of hoping they'd go straight into Stardust Crusaders

I wonder what prompted the change? It could be that they are in that much of a hurry to start, or maybe somebody goofed and the license on JoJo's expires a week before the show finished. Given that Toonami would postpone new episodes, I could see where they could be off regarding the termination date.

They probably would have, if not for Titan. The first season of AoT was one of Toonami's biggest hits ever, so it's naturally going to take priority. Season 2 seems to be only 12 episodes, though, so I imagine they'll be bringing back Jojo after that. |

Yeah, I think the prospect of the AoT simuldub was too much to pass up for Toonami. They can come back to JoJo later |

Toonami wants Attack on Titan Season 2 to hurry up and premier on their block already!
I hope Mike McFarland's ready. He's gonna need to make sure Bryce Papenbrook, Ashly Burch, Matthew Mercer, and any other out-of-towners can effectively reprise their roles before the premier. Oh yeah, and finish working on Trickster. |

This is great! A week earlier!
Yeah, I think they rightfully want to get AoT S2 on as soon as possible. I mean I was actually surprised when it wasn't announced in advance and then they picked up Tokyo Ghoul since that made me think the wait was going to be a little longer with it seeming unlikely they'd get 2 new shows at once and then since it hadn't gotten announced prior to 4/1 when Titan was set to premiere in Japan/Funi's streaming. |

Excellent the sooner that AOT season two premieres on Toonami the better though I still would like to see Stardust Crusaders make it's way to Toonami eventually.

Well, the dub for SC was just announced recently, so we're likely going to get it after either AOT or TG end. Then there's also "Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga," which also got announced. |

With a title like Attack on Titan, I would've given it the 11:30 PM slot, mainly since Dragon Ball Super already airs at 8:00 PM, and to designate the midnight hour for Dragon Ball.
11:00 PM Samurai Jack 11:30 PM Attack on Titan S2 12:00 AM Dragon Ball Super 12:30 AM Dragon Ball Z Kai 1:00 AM Tokyo Ghoul 1:30 AM Hunter x Hunter 2:00 AM Gundam Unicorn 2:30 AM Naruto Shippudden 3:00 AM Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex |

Wow, the good news just keeps getting better!
Something must have come up within the past day for them to move it up so quickly.
DeMarco recently said on his Ask.fm that Jojo will likely end up replacing AoT when it ends. |

I am still pissed about Toonami deciding to cancel One Piece.
