And there was much rejoicing.

Seriously though, this is pretty much a mic-drop moment for FUNi. Not only did they manage to reunite the entire original cast, but they were able to do it while the show was STILL airing. This right here is a game-changer for broadcast dubs and dubs in general. The gauntlet has officially been thrown. |

Chris Sabat isn't the ADR Director, he's the producer. The actual ADR Director is Todd Haberkorn with Alex von David as assistant director.

Don't know why they bothered to reunite the cast for a show that isn't even a proper Haruhi show. But I guess if a new show ever gets made we can count on Funimation to get that cast back now.

Hmm. Well, on the show's Funimation web page, it says that Chris Sabat is the ADR Director. So, who made the mistake here? In any case, I had zero interest in this show before. But I do now! |

Sure, they're too cheap to get the cast of "Danganronpa" back, but they'll get the cast for this back.

Wow I'm impressed, honestly I didn't think they would pull off this particular cast reunion. English Dub fans will no doubt be happy about this, even if the series itself hasn't been that spectacular.

I for one am looking forward to Michelle Ruff's take on this totally different version of Yuki. Glad I have my Elite Subscription - looking forward to Friday!

Wow, commissioning a union dub for this and getting everyone back, I don't think any of us expected that.
Kudos where kudos is due. This is going to cost FUNi a pretty penny and I hope Haruhi fans turn out in droves to make the investment worth it. |

I wasn't sure which way this would go. The overwhelming opinion was that people wanted Bang Zoom on this and since basically the whole cast of Haruhi is on he broadcast dub for Duararax2 it seemed like there was a decent shot this would happen. I'm quite pleased since the alternative would have been to replace several veteran actors.

Wow--I certainly didn't think this was possible, so what a pleasant surprise! I'll just have to wait an extra year or so to get the eventual blu-ray in order to listen to it.

Funimation goofed on the staff credits. It's not like they haven't goofed on credits before [Soul Eater NOT had a cast list error]. Plus I linked to the horse's mouth: Christopher Sabat. I'll admit: Funimation delivered and I thought they wouldn't. I like it when companies exceed my expectations. |
