2013 looks like it will be an awesome box office year (reminder, 2013 box office year goes from december 2012 to november 2013) : end of Evangelion 3.0's run, One Piece Z, Hunter x Hunter movie, Dragon Ball movie, Miyazaki and Takahata movies and the usual Doraemon/Pokemon/Conan trio ! Lots of tracking to do, it won't be boring.

With some of the additional though somewhat cryptic information from that site, the movie concept begins to take some shape for me: http://www.nausicaa.net/wiki/Latest_News
I have still no idea why someone would choose this story and what it is actually about, but it seems to be something more complex and evolved than it may look on the outside. There is a serious literary backdrop next to the historical one. And it is obviously partly biographically motivated. I just hope it will have a good structure and be somewhat understandable. Perhaps working parallelly to Takahata also has given him some energy. Well, let's wait. |
