Im really interested about Abyss. One of the .Hack series they licensed was also sub only, I wonder if they actually plan to dub or if they are going to release them subbed?
Funi getting Geass is unsurprising but glad they can get the OVAs too. |

Yes please. And I hope that they announce Banner of the Stars III at their panel, but I won't hold my breath. |

So happy that they rescued Banner of the Stars. I managed to get Crest of the Stars, but not Banner. Would be nice if they managed to get Banner III as well.

This is fantastic if FUNi has the Blu-ray rights to Code Geass. It's definitely my favorite show and I've wanted Blu-rays for it for years now. I don't see anything about that in the announcement though, but I'm cautiously optimistic. And if they did indeed get the Blu-ray rights, then this (combined with the Akito the Exiled annoucement) is the best news of the con for me!!
Very excited about this announcements and I'm confident that FUNi will put out a great release! Edit: I'd probably still double-dip on Code Geass even if it doesn't come out on Blu-ray if FUNi were to at least include the R2 picture dramas we never got over here. If Japan won't do it, I'd take a Funi upscale BD remaster for Witch Hunter Robin as an awesome compromise to get it in the best video possible.
Agree, even though I hated Lelouch's character, the show was very good and had an awesome dub. Great to see Crest/Banner will be back available.
That would be awesome to both.

It's not a Sunrise title, which everything Sentai & Funimation announced today was owned by Sunrise. That's one that I think if it ever gets re-release, that Sentai will pick up. Mainly due to the ties that Waiting in the Summer(which Sentai released) has to Please Teacher/Please Twins . |

I'd like if they could get Banner of the Stars III as well, but I would like the original voice cast to reprise their roles. If they can get the original for Roberta's Blood Trail then why not for Banner of the Stars III

Just looking at my DVD shelf. Looks like no one has picked Galaxy Angel, Hayate the Combat Butler, Lucky Star, Please Teacher/Please Twins, Scrapped Princess, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time or Wolf's Rain yet. Although Zac was jokingly mentioned on ANNcast a couple weeks ago that he's half-expecting for Funimation to mail him a license-rescued complete collection of Saber Marionette J.
