The Pixar Award for Pixar Films will either go to the Pixar film or to Frozen. I'd be looking forward to Frozen more if the stupid snowman and other gags were played down. Kids can love epic films without needing constant comic relief. I always hated the animal sidekicks as a kid. Though, Frozen will be the first American animated feature I see this year, never really cared to see any of the others, they seem like things that would work fine as rentals.

Disappointed to see that the dub clip features the half-assed, blandly faux-emotive performances of Funimation's B-tier dubs. I remember the dub for Summer Wars being really good.

Talking about the dub, will the Tugg showings be dub or sub?

Personally, I don't think the clip is long enough to judge the dub on a whole, what's said is melodramatic to begin with. The trailer hasn't quite sold me either, though I usually prefer dubs.

You're calling Colleen Clickenbeard half-assed?

You serious?

Was lucky to see the dub & sub of Wolf Children on the big screen. The sub in NY and the dub at Otakon. Both versions were excellent.

Anyways I am happy to say they picked a great theater for the Philadelphia screening. I love the Ritz. But it seems like they need a lot more tickets to make the screening happen.

However anyone from Philadelphia who wants to see this movie on the big screen don't worry it is definitely screening at the Roxy (2021 Sansom Street) on Nov 16 at 3:00 PM via the Philadelphia Film Society.
