When the two leads were spoiler[in the empty classroom the first time and wondering how they could make their relationship "special",] I thought to myself (do not read spoiler comment if under 18 years of age), spoiler["welp, you could kinda divebomb each others muffs"] but yeah, I guess spoiler[kissing] works, too.

At first the erotic kissing sounds bothered me because it was supposed to be a first kiss, which are typically G-rated, but then I saw Haruka pushing Yuu around and that raised an eyebrow. Then they passed out...from lack of air...because they weren't breathing...because they didn't know how to kiss. And then I was just like, "Oh! The moaning is from a lack of air from not breathing!". I found that whole scene much funnier after the fact.
I had to recheck the credits for this since the direction and art just screamed Shinbo. Turns out Ken'ichi Ishikura, the Director, has done a good bit of work for SHAFT working under both Shinbo and Oonuma (Baka and Test, Dusk Maiden), which would explain the similarities, especially to Baka and Test with the backgrounds. |

I really appreciate when shows depict inexperienced lovers as not being instant pros at it. Not only is it more realistic but very emotional and sweet.
A fist kiss is always going to be memorable but I'd call someone a liar if they said it was their best kiss. Well, unless it was their only kiss. So this show did it really well. Really cute... and super hot. |

that was good start, and it had some funny moments. Shizuku bringing spoiler[cup yakisoba] to school was what got me the most.

A few things amused me:
1.) Man, Sakura Trick would have fit much more nicely in Yuri Hime than say Yuru Yuri. Granted then the former would have gotten much less chapters since Yuri Hime is bimonthly so in that respect good thing Sakura Trick got enough material for an adaptation 2.) This has WAY more physical intimacy than most non-hentai romance titles including hetero ones! And this is only Episode 1!
(granted I did take a peek on future chapters, and if you thought the kisses were squeal-worthy, you have seen nothing yet! )
3.) When this series is over, this is going to make any other cute girl shows that relied on yuri goggles look REALLY dull in comparison. And in that respect, I hope Sakura Trick sets the precedent if this becomes a success. 4.) The OP song title "Won（*3*）Chu KissMe!" is probably the most awesome punny title ever! There's like a few way one can read that. |

Episode 2
I wonder if I should be holding this for the last thing to watch on Fridays because it is something I look forward to, but today my concentration was troubled due to this being the.... 14 show I watched today (some are shorts), I should have made sure I watched everything yesterday. But still loving it. The episode seemed to have gotten to a point where Kotone is staying over Shizuku's place, and they seem to have gotten to a point where they are a couple too. *checks profiles* Oh according to MAL spoiler[they are cousins], that explains why Kotone said "spoiler[aunt]". Well if you are a yuri lover you might not have a problem with that. Well if it is going at the rate it is then Yuzu and Kaede might be next episode, I did like thespoiler[ fake out they did with a situation not too far off from involving pocky]. Also thought it funny when Haruka kept spoiler[accusing Kaede and being jealous]. The kissing was not bad either. Although the preview I watched was not subbed, I can get the gist it will involve spoiler[Yuu's elder sister who is apparently the student president (kaichou)]. She is in the OP so want to see. |

So did Joshiraku start a trend where EDs must be done in chibi style? I swear it feels like there's a half dozen or so every season now. This season we have Witch Craft Works, Engaged to the Unidentified, and this show. WCW I understand why since Mizushima was director for Joshiraku and storyboarded the ED, but c'mon. Another one that sticks out was the ED for Problem Children. I know that style ED existed before Joshiraku, but now it feels like a trend. It's not one I hate, but I'm definitely noticing it.

Another great yurilicious episode!
spoiler[Lewd kisses Spats More lewd kisses Two girls become another couple AND more lewd kisses!] And now the only thing that is missing (I think) from making this a perfect yuri show is a teacher x student couple. Though I do not know if the two teachers will kiss each other. EDIT: I kind of notice that there is a look-alike of Love Lab's Maki in one scene. |

It goes back further, and I am not sure what would constitute as a trend, but connected by yuri I seem to remember at least Saki having chbi EDs. |

I'm really confused. Did I miss an episode? All I can remember as far as interaction between Kotone and Shizuku is that she saw her name on the class list and imagined that she was someone beautiful since she has a name "like out of manga".
How the heck did we go from that to Kotone now apparently living with her? That's atrocious to skip that much of character interaction and relationship development and strikes me as inexcusably lazy. Very disappointed that this just wants to jump around and do whatever the hell it wants to without any regard for the viewer. |
