I find that all the interactions of Sakura had with Naruto not going anywhere really was the equivalent of false advertising.

that doesn't mean a thing. Those official anime websites like misinformation. A lot of the time, they made you believe who are the parents, then at the end, no the MC's father or mother is actually someone else.
Then again, in anime, the characters don't even need to look like their parent(s). Boruto has no white eye either, he Inherited no trait from Hinata.

what's wrong with that It's not like she's Masako Nozawa. If she can play an 18 year old Naruto Junko can play one whos older. Mens voices dont really change in 13 years
