Didn't Crunchyroll simulcast that series during fall season last year?

Because sometimes, people aren't too interested in being right on the bleeding edge of something.

The show's first six episodes will be available at 11:00 p.m. EDT in subtitled format for premium users in the United States and Canada, and will be available to free users after a week. The next six episodes of the show will be available for premium uses on May 27, and will be available to free users a week after that time.

The show ran for 13 episodes, so either one batch will actually include 7 episodes, or that some arrangements need to be reached specifically for Episode #13. (The show will get an OVA released next month with the last home-media volumes, so maybe there is some discussion on that, stream-wise).

Good news, but it never should have taken this long.

Nope, it was very slow fansubs or nothing.

Nice. It would be great if CR also got Hyouka which never had a legit stream. I'd prefer a physical release of course but even a legit stream of it would be nice for a rewatch.

For me, there is enough legally available anime to view.

I already normally wait until a series has finished to view it, so a few more months or even years doesn't make much difference.

Upon seeing this series, I think I may have now developed somewhat more of an interest in amusement parks.

Most anime don't really necessitate much watercooler talk anyway - it's entertainment, so watch at convenience.

Pretty sure that you're thinking of Trinity Seven (which also aired during the Fall 2014 season) instead.

How could anyone possibly mix up those two titles?

I watched the first two episodes last night and I agree it was worth waiting for. Although I wonder how a theme park in that condition could actually attract even 2,000 visitors a day.

Supposedly Netflix got it but almost two months after the last episode aired, it has yet to appear. I don't think Netflix officially confirmed it though. Either way what the heck.

Perhaps Funimation stills haves the chance to acquire the series. Maybe if the 2nd season happens and before it airs.

Netflix seems to be dead on new anime after
Knights of Sidonia.

Already watched the entire series and found it rather mediocre, so couldn't care to rewatch it again. Nice for other people though.

What I wouldn't give to see Hyouka licensed and brought over.

Presumably they have the second season of Knights of Sidonia. Most people probably prefer simulcasts to Netflix latecast, so that's not a bad thing.

Me too, but it will never happen. I'd bet on the old Cream Lemon series being re-released on the original Laserdiscs before Hyouka is licensed for North America.

I'm curious - what makes you so pessimistic about a Hyouka release over here? So far, isn't it the only KyoAni title that hasn't been licensed here yet?
