Looks like it's getting a physical release after all.

It sucks that they're not releasing the Vita version over here. I'm already planing to get a PS4 for Persona 5 so I'll still buy it. But I prefer handheld games and would rather play it on the Vita.

The Vita version is coming over after all! http://gematsu.com/2016/09/digimon-world-next-order-coming-west-ps4-ps-vita-early-2017

It's digital-only in North America, though I'm sure Bandai Namco Asia will offer an English physical run.

The PS4 version will also be getting a physical run in North America.

Bandai Namco corrected its press release and confirmed with ANN that the game will be available in the Americas in digital and retail forms for PlayStation 4, but not for PS Vita.
