I feel bad for Umehara. I hope he makes a full recovery. I was unfamiliar with this seiyuu, but looking at his voice acting roles I realize that I like his work.

Tiger the Dark wouldn't take defeat lying down and I'm sure Umehara won't either. May his recovery be strong and swift so that he can enter the ring again.

Praying for a swift and excellent recovery! Umehara is exceptionally talented and I have enjoyed everything I’ve seen him in since his debut. He’s really become one of my favorite seiyuu and I look forward to watching his career for years to come.

As someone who also suffered an autoimmune disease and almost died because of it, I wish him the best and I hope he recovers soon and without any kind of complications.

This is so unfair and unfortunate. He's such a talented guy, and he has so much potential still. To suffer such a serious illness, especially now when his career is really taking off, is terrible. I wish him a full recovery, and I hope he'll be back to work as soon as it's reasonably possible (while prioritizing his health of course).
