Episode 2
Funny thing is that I am not surprised at all, after last episode I saw Yoshino being the most likely suspect to have left the note, a person who might have some resources to know his past but not make a spectacle about it. And it had me suspecting that she would also have a personality separate from the “kind” one we see. I really regret not putting it in my previous post because now it just looks like I am saying it after fact, and I thought that I would just look silly if I was wrong, like focusing too much on the character. And really it just makes me like her character more, especially seeing that she too wants in on the Aki revenge plot.
I actually think my favourite part of the episode is how fell into a slump of thinking low of himself as really low and unlikable, his classmate came in showing that she kind of likes him and thinks of herself in thinking she put it on him. It was kind of disastrous in how he turned her down in face of continuing his revenge plot, both in the way it is effecting himself and how she felt, but there was something about the emotions involved.
This show was kind of reminding of something, and I think I realised that for some reason it makes me think of Yamada-kun.

I am very curious about Yoshino's motives. Part of me thinks her desire to help Masamune with his revenge plot is to actually help the Cruel Princess. Maybe she senses her master needs to forge a bond with somebody and she intuits that, for some reason, she and Masamune would actually be good for one another. I guess we'll see.

I am thinking rebellion against the duty forced upon her by her family and how she has been. Other thought, she wants to turn her mistress against men so she will go back on her. But probably her own revenge, that Aki is going to pay for how she treated people.

I hate it when the sweet/innocent types turn out to be kind of nasty underneath. Tsukasa, Shinka, Ayase... It keeps happening and Masamune's reaction about sums it up.

I dunno....Yoshino has probably been abused by Aki since they were old enough to talk.
"Yoshino, you're so slow! Yoshino, you're so stupid! Yoshino, a kindergartner is faster than you!!"
She's probably just done with this treatment. Anyone sane would eventually crack under the years of belittlement and want to rebel. Under the circumstances, she can't do it herself so Makabe is the perfect pawn of her desires.

That's kinda the thing. She knows Masamune has suffered like she has, so why not treat him like a comrade? Instead she strings him up, brandishes a knife at him threateningly, and keeps calling him by his old nickname.
Any hostility she has towards Aki is totally understandable, but what beef does she have with Masamune?

It was probably largely her just doing her duty which is supposed to protect Aki, but she was also just as quick to cut him down, she is probably stuck a bit between her duty and getting revenge. The scene being used to show that she is not as a helpless airhead that she might appear, and that she knows who he is. And it could be she does not exactly get a lot of chances to make friends/allies, she does not know much what to do.

I think the probablility of her falling in love with Makabe is 99.999999999%
Whoever that long-haired brunette is in the OP...maybe she will be the "nice girl" of the show?

How about the other way around? I think that'd be a lot better

Well, she's definitely the best girl
But I guess the class rep kinda fills the genuinely nice girl niche, too bad in the 2nd episode she kinda got kicked from the running. Still, I prefer the more withdrawn type of girl like Yoshino appeared to be at first, hence my disappointment.

That would be interesting.....but I somehow doubt it will happen.

Episode 3:
Masamune's confidence is pretty evident especially since he bets Aki on a "date". She actually looks nice imo, at least a bit different from her usual self. The mind games continue between them...
Ha, dress codes. I can't help but face palm when she was mistaken for cosplaying and when she couldn't take that "horror" movie. Silly date in general.
At the moment though, I think Yoshino is the most unpredictable character in the show. It's hard to read what she's thinking.

What the heck was up with that zombie movie??
Pretty solid episode. A lot of tension build up in the first half, but played out as expected with glimpses of Aki's hidden nature and chemistry established between the two leads. Aki's moment in the fitting room was probably the high point of the episode, her first helping of humiliation in Yoshino's campaign. Yoshino's reason for doing so is still somewhat of a mystery, as I really don't think she just wants Aki to become a better person. She does seem to be enjoying herself, though, evident by the response she gave to her mom at the end.
Enjoying this series a lot more than I already knew I would. Not a lot happening, but playing out well enough for what it is. What would make it great would be if Yoshino ended up being the love interest

My suspicion that Yoshina is helping Masamune as a way of actually helping the Cruel Princess got more credence. But yes, there is an upside for her, too, if Aki becomes less obnoxious.
But more importantly, I sure hope we get to see way more of Smoking (in both senses of the term) Maid Big Boobs.

"SON OF A BITCH!!"
Bwahahahaha this episode made me die. I don't know what was more funny; Aki believing Yoshino's ridiculous lies, the ZOMBIE PORN MOVIE, or Aki yelling at the little kid....or crying in the dressing room.....it was all hilarious.
(I did feel sorry for her when she was crying though)
And I loved her knock-off Precure dress! She looked really cute.
.............also ZOMBIE PORN MOVIE. *dies* Japan, this is probably a thing somewhere, isn't it?
This is definitely my favorite show this season. It's light-hearted, hilarious, fun, and cute.
