I haven't seen a swift company erasure of history like this since WWE did the same to Chris Benoit.

This is probably too extreme of a comparison, but it's the best one I can think of.

You're right, it is too extreme of a comparison. Not to disparage the victims of this but there is a vast difference here between this and murdering your family and taking your own life. It is also very off topic and in bad taste. So this line of discussion ends here.

A more apt example is what happened, rightfully so, to Kevin Spacey.
