Is it just me or are you just incensed that you can't buy the show at your price range? If all of those craps are in your price range, I bet you would praise it like the best thing since sliced bread. You see extras as cheap crap, but I have feeling that you either don't know or care about the cost associated with producing those craps you're referring to.

You can credit this to Satelight pushing for that screening of the second movie at Japan Expo in Paris last year in honor of Kawamori being the guest. That's what got the ball rolling.

That is true, allot of credit goes to Satelight. One correction the Wings of Farewell was actually screened at this years Japan Expo in Paris.

Unlike the Mac Plus Blu-ray release there will be no "bromance" or any other nonsense in either of the Frontier Movie subs. I can't wait to receive my copy.

Is it just me or people can't simply understand that even if you have the money to buy those expensive sets doesn't mean that price is justified.
Let me tell you this as an example. The Gundam UC blu-rays put out by Bandai cost an arm and a leg. Now what would you say if the those same blu-rays came out 100% the same (and I'm talking about the special editions with the o-card, the translated booklet, and the promotional postercard) but costing less than half what the "japanese" version goes by ? You think it's impossible ? Yeah no. Italy is publishing the Gundam UC dvd and blu-rays (both special editions mind you) with japanese and italian dubs just fine. The only difference with the original version is that they cost 30 $ for the dvd version and 40$ for the blu-ray version. And this is before discounts.
So tell me again how is 90$ justified for the japanese version again ?
On some level otakus are idiots. They have this "sentimental" connnection to firms that just don't care about your well being. You're not being a better citizen by spending copious amounts of money for a freaking blu-ray. And nothing is more evident than when you get localised editions that are 100% equal to the japanese versions but cost less than half.
